On June 28, 2021, Asp. Mila Rose Abenis entered the Postulancy at Mary Mother of the Good Shepherd Chapel in Imus, Cavite. The Rite to the entrance to the Postulancy was preceded by a common vespers and was attended by all the sisters in the compound. The prayer and the Rite to Postulancy was animated by Sr. Cynthia Angalot and Mila Rose was accepted to the Postulancy by Sr. Maria Rita Siochi. She will be accompanied in this formative level by Sr. Amparo Hilot.
The Postulancy is the continuity of the Aspirancy. It is the period of maturation and deepening of vocational discernment and orientation of one’s life. Animated by the Holy Spirit, the candidate is invited to confront herself in order to consider integrally and vitally her personal reality: her relationship with the Lord, her identity as a woman, her commitment in the Christian life and her vocational journey.
We give thanks to God for the gift of vocation to the Church and to our Congregation and for the many graces we received from Him all throughout in our journey especially our pastoral presence here in the Philippines.
