At the kind invitation of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master, on Sunday 25 October 2015, the Daughters of St Paul and the Pastorelle Sisters gathered together in Camberwell to celebrate the feast of the Divine Master. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by Fr Austin Cooper OMI who gave a very inspiring homily encouraging us to remain faithful at the school of the Teacher. Lovely music and singing, and the gift of being together as a Pauline Family, made the event a very special time of joy and thanksgiving.
It was easy to feel united to the Pauline Family throughout the world as the group in the chapel was made up of Sisters who come from different countries such as India, Philippines, Italy, Japan, Tonga, Samoa as well as Australia. We prayed for the Church and for the world we live in, for the needs of all Paulines and asked the Lord to send good labourers into his vineyard that we may continue to live and give Jesus to the world; Jesus, the Divine Master and Shepherd, who is our way, truth and life.
At the end of the Mass we had the opportunity of spending time together sharing thoughts and experiences over a delicious afternoon tea which the sisters had lovingly prepared. Deo gratias!
