The miracle happened in the spontaneous expression of the desire: “I wish your presence will reach the leading church people in the Philippines.” The desire became a prayer and eventually became flesh in the selfless and generous mission of Sandra, Emilia, Daniel and Trish in the Philippines June 30 – July 18. All things work for good for those who love God and called for his purpose. Rom.8:28.
The goodness and kindness of the CSOE missionaries made a difference in their genuine self-giving and faith-witnessing. Surely the precious gift that they’ve shared, the courses on “Eucharist”, “John the Beloved-Discipleship”, and “Seven Young People in the Gospels” are gifts from the Lord, priceless, lasting and strengthening relationship with him.
It was indeed very edifying to witness the openness of the team in adapting to and working with the limited resources from which the best of what we have was offered.
We can’t thank God enough. We were able to be touched by His love because of the presence of CSOE.
Course sessions were truly God moments, with disciples meeting the Lord, of learning, reflection, prayer, joy and inner discovery that one is loved. It also challenged us to remain living life unselfishly, remaining in relationship with God and others instead of choosing the shadows of life. Our imperfections could be beneficial in challenging us to find God’s light, compassion and loving embrace.
It is beautiful to be refreshed to live life in tranquility, convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom.8:38-39.
The bishops, priests, religious, R.E. teachers, lay and youth leaders from Archdioceses and Dioceses of Imus, San Fernando La Union, Lingayen Dagupan and Alaminos and of course our congregation of Sisters of Jesus Good Shepherd “Pastorelle” would like to express our heartfelt thank you. As the Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop, Socrates Villegas, said “We are blessed you came”

The wonder of sharing our faith, of deepening the Word of God and creating communion with people from across the ocean! What a life-giving experience. Congratulations!
